LHD T4 steering column UJ

Hi all

My steering column universal joint has excessive play on my 1991 LHD T4 California.

Is this the same part as the RHD- I can not find one at present and van has failed MOT so am in a bit of trouble?

Any advice/help with parts or a complete column desperately needed!!!

Just tried Silver Street
For the record /anyone following this thread, the Intermediate Steering Shaft [lower part of steering column with UJ],
part number 701422751C is suitable for LHD and RHD:) although VW have none left in stock as were discontinued in 2012 , according to the Parts Dept of Silver St


However they did have the T4 top beering for steering column- there are only 3 of these left in VW warehouse apparently- I have just ordered one of them!

Tracked the UJ down through VW Heritage, has to be ordered in from Germany, a two week wait, better late than never I suppose!
