Clutch & Thrust Bearing

Postby Muppet » Tue Jul 29, 2014 8:21 pm

Evening folks

Just a wonderance, if you have a T1 1200 gearbox & a 1584 T2? engine
which clutch plate & thrust bearing would you be using??

Did recall a noise from the Thrust bearing a while back on the buggy and after
taking it out for a little run have noticed what has to be thrust bearing/clutch
gring/drag noise when peddle pressed half way?

your thoughts would be appreciated

I think it depends on the throw out arm. Im using a late setup with 200mm clutch now . I have a tp engine with a late bug box in my splitty i have spare new early throw out bearings and possibly clutchs too
